For two decades, Tapio's heart has been beating for communications at the intersection of innovation, business and society.

After his early years as a PR consultant with international network agencies, he founded Oseon in 2008 in the conviction that state-of-the-art communication must overcome disciplinary boundaries to accomplish its mission.

Since then, more than 40 international and German companies have benefited from Tapio's experience with market entry campaigns, message development and issue management. Several of his campaigns have been honored with nominations and prizes from renowned PR industry awards.


Tapio has a place of honour in numerous reference and university libraries - with the best-selling textbook "PR in the Social Web", which he wrote together with Swiss colleague Marie-Christine Schindler.
